Here & There

A little catch up on where I have been the last couple of weeks since the rally. There has been stitching so that makes me happy.
I headed back to Detroit for an event in Ann Arbor. It was the Tuesday morning after the riots in Baltimore and my 5:30 am flight was supposed to stop there and then continue on to Detroit. The plane went straight to Detroit instead. It was like flying on my own private 737. I am sure that this will never happen again.
I met up with my friend Tina and this time we tried Biggby Coffee. This is a Michigan chain. Their Baristas are awesome. My drink was wonderful.
My event was in Ann Arbor. I will have to come back and explore more.
I finished up this little and Chessie & Me piece.
Then it was off to Kansas after a quick overnite and event in Asheville.
These 5:30am flights are tough. This is what it looked like when my flight was leaving RDU that morning.
I was training on setting up the computers at a new site in Salina, KS. I had the chance one day at lunch to visit Rock City Park.
These are huge. It looks like a giant dropped a bag of marbles.
There was some very strong weather while I was there. The wind is exhausting.
Fortunately everything passed the area that I was in.
I finished this other little Bent Creek kit.
I am always stopping in Midway! I had a  good view of Chicago this time. One of these days I will leave the airport to visit you!
Another quick finish, Shepherd's Bush Liberty  kit. This one only took a couple of hours. I am doing pretty well stitching from stash!

So now we are caught up a little.
I hope that wherever you are you have some stitching time.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day and those who have family member's graduating... congratulations!

Thanks for traveling with me!
Chris

Glad to see your post,Chris. I found all the places so interesting to visit thanks to you. If I ever get to Michigan, I'll try that coffee. The stitching looks great. I'm so glad you are able to fit it in.

LOTS of traveling - I don't know how you do it. The rock park was super cool. I do admire you as you always take time to explore the area you are visiting for work. I am glad that you have found some traveling sized projects so that you can stitch when times allows.

What a busy lady you are Chris, great to see you stitching on your travels. The photo on the plane is quite surreal - it looks like the proverbial deserted ship.
