Then I headed back to Mesa to spend some time at The Attic!
What a fabulous store. It was so wonderful to visit it.
Look at all the amazing models.
Heaven! I had lunch with Jean Lea. I have always seen her back east at needlework shows or symposiums. It was so nice to finally see her wonderful store.
I added a little to my stash.
After stitching a little I drove back up to Glendale to pick up Rich. Then it was back to Mesa to have dinner with my cousin and her beautiful family. It has been maybe 29 years since I have seen Dale.
It was great to see her and to catch up. It will not be such a long time before we see each other again.
Thanks for stopping by and traveling with me!

Lucky you to visit the Attic and eat lunch with Jean Lea! I'm envious for sure! Nice that you got to see your cousin and family too!
Oh my goodness!!! You are at the "mecca" of cross stitching!!! I Hope to get there some day. So happy that you were able to have lunch with Jean Lea and add to your stash.

It's always nice to catch up with family. Lucky you for getting to that needlework shop!
So glad you made it to the attic. It is my local shop and just love it and the staff and of course jean. ;-)
Wow so much fun :)

What fun!
How wonderful you got to visit the famous "Attic". Looks like it was chock full of things to see. I would have busted my budget there for sure!
Yay! Another great day. How wonderful.
Oh, you lucky girl!! What fun to see all those goodies in person. I can't tell you the last time I was in a real-honest-to-goodness cross stitch shop! How nice that you got to visit with your cousin after all these years, too :)
OH you got to go to the famous ATTIC store - and have lunch with Jean too!! Way cool:) Totally FUN!
love your new charts. love Annette
What a small world...my son has family that live in Mesa. I was surprised that store was so big. Most needlework shoppes I have shopped at were more on the small side. Will have to check it out next year.
blessings, jill
