Goal Achieved

Hello Friends,
I know that some other friends in the Blogosphere have been dieting with the help of the Lose It app on their smart phones.
I have had this app for the last couple of years but in January I decided to focus and use the app and exercise to lose some weight.
The app is easy to use, you put in your age, height and weight and it gives you a calorie budget. You log your food in for each meal. You can scan those pesky bar codes on items to log them in. You can log your exercise for added calories. The program really makes you aware of what you eat.
So I have lost over 50 lbs. now I need to maintain at least thru the holidays.

This is me and my main Zumba teacher Phyllis. I am the tall awkward one. She has also made the journey fun. I would like to lose another 10 or 15 pounds, but that is for the new year. I achieved the goal that I set in January.

Now if for 2013 I can just finish off some of those Scarlet Letter samplers.....

Hugs

Chris

I've done it once before...now let's see if I can do it again. I have a little over 20 more pounds to go...and it's the holidays.

Well done Chris, an acheivement to be proud of.

The one drawback of stitching for a hobby is the lack of exercise.

Wow, Chris!! Congratulations! You must be so proud of yourself. I need to do something because I'm the size of a small nation at this point, but I'll probably wait till after the holidays. I am trying to do less carbs, but dang--I long for the time when being a heifer is in vogue again.
