Things have been busy here the last couple of weeks. I have stitched an autumn exchange piece that I can't reveal yet. Now that I have finished it I will go back to my mystery sampler. When I went to my EGA meeting last week I got to see 2 of our members progress and I am anxious to get mine finished.
Things have been busy here. I try not to over commit but my schedule seems to not let up. I think that I probably need to learn to cut back on some of my social stuff.
Here are some of the things that I have been up to. Last weekend was the Tar Heel Mini Rally. It was a rainy day. Rich and I drove up to Dobson, NC to Shelton Vineyards to take part.
The vineyard was so beautiful. It was too bad that it was a drizzly wet day.
Are these cakes amazing? DH had an allergic reaction to something Saturday night. I think the cake may have been to blame. The boy was all broken out in hives! Tomorrow he has an appointment with the allergist.
DH and I spent some time packing yesterday since our HI trip is coming up. I am looking forward to the down time. I need to decide what stitching to take with me.
Well I should get to some stuff around the house. I hope to have some stitching to show later.
Have a peaceful Sunday!

Woo hoo! I'd be packing, too. Hope this dreary day brings some time for stitching.
Hope the allergen is discovered before it happens again. Maybe the food coloring in the icing, but they are fabulous cakes!
Have a wonderful time in Hawaii! I am so jealous! Enjoy!
Hawaii! How exciting! I agree with Marly. I'm allergic to too much red dye. I can't eat red velvet. Maybe he has a similar allergy.
Hope your hubby is better. Allergic reactions can be very scary! Have fun in Hawaii ~ I lived there many years ago but it's changed a lot since then. I know you'll have a great time. Have safe travels.
You are a busy bee Chris! I know you are getting excited about your trip. Be sure and take lots of pictures. :o)
Hope your husband is better and the allergist finds out what caused the reaction. Enjoy your trip to Hawaii - I'm envious :)
Chris, those cakes are too pretty to eat! So sorry about your DH. I hope that he gets well soon!
Those cakes look good! I hope the hives have cleared up for your DH.
Oh, have a delightful time in Hawaii, Chris!! Be sure to take lots of photos to share with us... Sure hope your husband can get to the bottom of his allergic reaction...
Sounds like things have been busy! Hope your DH is better -- that doesn't sound like fun. Lucky you to be going to Hawaii!
