Hello... It's me...

Hello Friends.
How has your spring been? Full of celebration I hope.
I know that I have been gone for quite awhile, but Inthink I have been struggling with my schedule and some depression. Last month I finally started have a few full weekends at home. I have been feeling disconnected with family & friends. I have not been reacting to emails, except for work. Forgive me, those that have reached out to me. Your kind thoughts have been so appreciated.
So how do you shake this off? I have not been stitching. I am trying to get back to it. Exercise? I need to make time for this every day. Any thoughts?
    Is it an age/hormonal thing?
I have been traveling and have seen some great things and April was rally month and that is always fun.
Rich is fine. He is such a great guy.
We participated in the NAMI walk in Raliegh on May 7th. I work in behavioral health so this is very important to all of us. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and it was great to hang out with some of my colleagues.
I will try to catch you up on things over the last couple of months in some more posts.

I leave you now with my current view. I am on my way to St. Louis for an event in Alton, IL.  This is a pic of the steam/fog hanging over some rivers and waterways.

I have missed you guys.
Chris

Dear Chris, it is so good to see a post from you. I am sorry my friend. I force myself to walk daily. I read on the treadmill. I love to read, so I do not get to read unless I walk. ;)
I hope seeing new sights keeps you happy, not sad from separation from Rich. Maybe you will be up Wisconsin way again? Take care of yourself!

Chris, your schedule would get to anyone! Traveling and flying that much may not seem to be physically demanding but I'm sure it takes a toll on mind and body. Maybe you're not feeling grounded because places are temporary? And then there's that menopause crap. Horror-mones! Whatever, do what you can to make yourself feel comfortable and safe. Glad to see you and Rich had fun at the rally. Exercise is great, but sometimes it's rest that rejuvenates. Feel good sweet girl.

I've missed you Chris. You travel SO much - it must be hard to have a balanced life. Make sure you put yourself and your health first.

It's good to see a post from you, Chris! Sorry you've been feeling depressed and disconnected. With all the travel you've been doing, it makes sense. I hope you can find time for yourself, to reconnect with family and friends and to be happy. Hugs.

Chris, you have been missed; very glad to see your post. It is hard to find a balance and even harder when you are on the road like you are. Thinking of you!

Hi Chris! I'm sorry you have felt out of whack. All the traveling you do for work must be difficult. How cool you were going to Alton today. A good friend of ours was headed there today too. It's a pretty area. We're about 4 1/2 hrs north. Thinking of you and hoping you will begin feeling yourself again soon.

Hi Chris , I wondered the other day about you.
Sorry you have been a little down.

When you work away you do get torn away from friends and family .
But you are seeing some wonderful places , make the most of it .
Maybe in the future you can find work that gives you more time at home .
Take care hugs & XXX

It is so good seeing a new post from you. I missed you. And I'm sorry that you were feeling somewhat low these past weeks. We all need a timeout from time to time particularly when our job is very demanding as yours is. But I'M glad that you are back :)))

It's good to hear from you.
I think we all go through some depression sometimes.
You have to do what makes you happy, and having a great husband helps. :)
Take care.

Glad you are ok. You travel a lot, so I a sure it takes its toll on you. I walk 5 miles a day. I try to just sit in the sun 20 Minutes a day. The sun feels so good. Try to fit in some time to just relax. I hope things brighten for you.

Hi Chris,
Although I have some blogs I love, yours is special - you are such an interesting and special person! I don't really comment on blogs - shame on me - but when I saw you are back, I had to reach out. I've missed your posts very much and have worried about you and Rich. I'm glad you're doing OK-ish and wish I had some advice for you. I think this can happen to all of us at one point or another. You have a very hectic schedule and maybe that's catching up with you. Take care of yourself and don't worry too much about the stitching mojo. You'll get it back when the time is right. I hope you start feeling better soon.

So glad to see you posting again. Everyone needs a break now and then, time to take stock and recharge the batteries. Hope you feel like stitching again soon, it has always helped me when the "dark days" come around.

I'm sorry you've been feeling down, Chris--I think a schedule like yours would be very grueling and the lack of contact with friends and family (in person) would lead to that... I exercise a lot to keep any anxiety at bay--in fact I'm heading down to my treadmill as soon as I finish commenting :)

Glad Rich is such a support--he seems like a wonderful guy... Hang in there!!

I hope you get to stitch some soon.
