2015...The Stitching Year That Was....

The end of the year is a time to look back...
The best things that happened in 2015 were paying off our house.
Also being able to take care of Rich
(also the worst thing) during his surgery and recovery.

I had the chance to visit a lot of new places, see friends old and new, I got to hike in different places, try new foods...

I also made a change from reading books on my flights to listening to audio books and stitching so I finished a bunch of Bent Creek kits that were in my stash.
I also finished the Margaret Randolph Sampler from The Scarlet Letter that I had started a couple of years ago as a travel piece.
Nancy Johnson was started in 2014 and finished in 2015.
I really enjoyed stitching the Lizzie Kate Very Scary mystery sampler.

Here's to lots of finishes in 2016!
Happy New Year!
Wishing all the best to you and yours.

Chris

Congratulations on paying off your house, Chris!! More money for stash, right? I am amazed at how much you've stitched given the fact that you are traveling all the time--and what a great idea to combine listening to books and stitching. I do that now and then, but should do it more often.

Lovely finishes--here's to a happy, healthy, stitch-filled New Year!

Great finishes. I started listening to audio books this year and don't know why it took me so long to try them - next to my Kindle, best invention ever!! :-)
