Road Work

Hello my Friends!
How is your week going? Thank you for your visits and comments. You guys are the best!
   So... Road work...
Not this type, but what is in my travel stitching bag.
Binx wants to know. Also I need to do some housekeeping. That pink liner is flaking off...messy.
So let's take a look inside.
Some floss for an ornament that I am working on, my orts (I will add those to this years ort jar), needles, an anniversary card from my husband, a finished Bent Creek piece...
3 pairs of scissors, a finished Shepherd's Bush piece, a little stitched chicken from a friend, a Heart and Hand kit, nail file...there are also note cards and stamps.
So now I only have 1 pair of scissors with me. I took out the finished pieces.
I have some charts to pass on. Let me know if you are interested in one of them and I will pop it in the mail. If more than one person is interested I will draw a name.

So what is your "road work" ?

Safe Travels!

Chris

Hahaha, Road Work. BUt somehow a very appropriate title. There's no road work here, Whenever I am under way I only take a book to read whenever there is a chance. Taking cross stitch with me would be useless as I can't see without my magnifier.

You've got a lot in that bag!
Great projects.
Glad you find some time to stitch.

That was a fun post, Chris. I always love seeing what other stitchers carry around with them.

Great to see you've worked out a system to actually get some stitching in while on the road!! Cute finishes too!! Laura

That must give you great comfort taking your stitching bag with you from hotel to hotel, Chris--a little piece of home :) Your little finish is darling and I would love a chance to win the Forget Me Not chart :) Safe travels to you!!

Wow, there was a lot of good stuff in your 'road work' bag! So, did you add anything to your bag since you removed some things?

I would be interested in the 123 Blackbird chart.

Fun seeing your travel bag. I only worked on the white house (the BBD Home is Where My Heart Blooms chart)on my last trip.

It accumulates quickly doesn't it? It seems like there is constant road work here which must mean I'm pretty sloppy between bouts of organization!

I'm preparing a travel bag right now! I have a lengthy mission trip coming so this would be perfect. :) And I'd love a chance at the Forget Me Not pattern - thanks! blessings, marlene

I never go anywhere! {sniff} We should average our travel. I bet we'd both be a little happier. ;)

What a great little bag filled with all sorts of pretty things! Happy Anniversary to you and your sweet hubby Chris!...One of my cats got hold of some of my embroidery floss. I almost had a heart attack when I found out...the little sneak! I try to be so careful about not leaving any around too. I see Binx likes snooping. Better watch that little guy! xoxo

Binx: You are so as snoopy as our little baby.
Mom sure knows how to whittle down, I sure wish I did.
My road work was getting a new tower and the fiasco we went through to get it two weeks worth of headaches.
Chris I hope your travels are getting better with this warm weather.

Fun post! And very similar to what I tote around with me when traveling! I do bags within boxes within bigger bags!
