Fall Weekends

Is there anything better? We had our first really hard frost Friday night. When I left for work on Saturday the lawns were white with the frost. On my way to work the road that I travel goes over a reservoir and the last 2 mornings I have seen deer on this little spit on land that extends in to the reservoir. It looks so magical with the early morning sun. I wish that had a picture to share with you.
Saturday afternoon we headed out for a hike. Here a some fall pictures for you..

A nest blown out from it's perch in a tree..

One of the trail markers....

Here is my progress on the Summer Tribute sampler. I stitched some this week while watching the second season of Homeland.

Binx wanted to say hello.

Have a wonderful Sunday friends!

Hi Binx! (and Chris!)

Fall certainly is beautiful. We've had a few frosty evenings but not a hard one yet. I never look forward to winter, though.

Your stitching looks great.
