105 Degrees

Howdy!
I know that I have been quiet this week. I have been using a groupon I bought and I am trying to make the most of it and get back on track with my exercise. The groupon is to a Bikram yoga studio in Greensboro. Bikram is a 90 minute class done in a room heated to105 degrees. Wow. Hot. It is supposed to help with the stretching and helps you detoxify. All I can say is that I am sweating at a whole new level. I have a difficult time with the standing balance poses but I am trying. The groupon is goo for a month so I am trying to make the most of it.
Rich and I have company this weekend so we both were off today. This morning we went to a classic car auctioning Greensboro. It was like the Barrett Jackson auctions that you see on the speed channel.

Gorgeous cars.

Here is Rich with our nephew and his girlfriend.

I thought this Buick was a pretty color.

A Lincoln limo... It must be something to have been driven around in this.

Watching the action. I wasn't bidding.....

I was stitching on my traveling project. Here is a little more progress on Margaret.
I enjoyed the auction much more than I thought. I bought the tickets via groupon too:)
Then it was off to get some lunch at a local hot dog place and then to the movies. We saw Pacific Rim. Not my choice but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Our company is leaving tomorrow so there may be some more stitching time coming my way.
I hope that wherever you are you have a wonderful weekend.

Good luck with the hot yoga, Chris! I don't think I could handle the heat although I've just started doing a few yoga DVDs on my own and find myself really enjoying them... Pretty stitching--hope you get more time to stitch soon :)

Good luck with the yoga, I have to say it would appeal more in winter than at the momentum.

Great cars and Margaret is looking lovely

Wish all the best with your yoga class. We had heat here for 2weeks that was over the 100's, so happy its a bit cooler. But 105 degrees I thought that's dangerous to work out in. But good for you. Beautiful car show. U wonder if Jay Leno was there:) lovely stitching. love Annette

I could not handle that heat in the class.. I get sick if I get hot, let alone stretch and exercise. lol Those cars are beautiful! Love the stitching too.

Whewie! /That is hot Chris. Knowing me, I would get a flash in the middle of class and it would feel like 200 degrees. Nice cars, I'll bet Rich was loving it.

I don't know if I would feel like doing much of anything in 105 degree heat. :) I would love going to a car auction and seeing all of those gorgeous cars. Love seeing your updates on Margaret - so pretty!

Doing yoga or exercicing at those temperatures, wow. We were having these temperatures last Saturday and I was doing nothing at all.I suppose I'm not really devoted to the heat, LOL.

105? No thanks, LOL.

The car auction looks interesting. It's fun to look at different cars... even though, I don't know much about them.

Stitching looks pretty.

I give you such credit, Chris. Just walking around outside in all of Mother Nature's heat makes me sweat. I wouldn't go to a hot yoga class if you paid me to go!...Such beautiful cars at that auction...I love your traveling piece. You always pick out such pretty patterns and your stitching is beautiful! xo

It's usually that hot here in the summer but we are staying under 100 most days.

Hubby goes to car shows often. Guess it's in their blood. ;-)
