Back To Our Normally Scheduled Programming...

Dear Friends,
Wow! Can you believe it is the last part of October already? Time is flying by. I have had a hard time getting back into a normal routine since coming back from vacation. There are a couple of reasons for this...
1. I HATE leaving the house in the morning when it is dark. I have just wanted to stay in bed.
2. My exercise schedule has been disrupted due to the Zumba studio moving locations. Actually they aren't holding any classes until Nov. 1. No classes for 2&1/2 weeks. Ugh! And after that the schedule is not going to work as well for me.
3. My pharmacist has been on vacation for the last 10 days so that left me with extra work.

So I am trying to shake it off and get back on schedule. Come on daylight savings!!!
This morning Rich and I ran some errands. I think the leaves here are just past peak here. There were signs of fall everywhere.

I finished the exchange piece and shipped it out so now I can finish Snowden. I looked through the stash for an ornament for November. The theme is reindeer.
Myra finishes another small Halloween piece for me and today was the first chance that I had to stuff the pillow.

The stitched piece was really too big to be an ornament. Isn't it fabulous?

This is the fabric that she used for the back. Since I live with 2 black cats it is perfect.
Speaking of black cats...

Someone is happy that I am home.
I have a big pot of Minestrone on the stove. It is perfect for a fall day.

I picked up this retro style tablecloth. The vintage ones are so expensive. I love fall.
Well I think I am going to go take a nap. I hope that you are having a perfect weekend.
Thanks for visiting and welcome to my new followers.

Hugs!
Chris

I hate the fall and winter months too just because of the dark, dark, dark mornings. When I get out of bed its still dark because I start work before 8am!!!

Your little finish is adorable and I love anything black cat too!

What a gorgeous tablecloth! I love it!

I love all the seasons but dislike the darker mornings.

Great assortment of squashes or are they pumkins?

I hated those dark mornings too. Fortunately I don't have to deal with them anymore but the days just seem way too short.
I love your Halloween pillow! Is that one by The Primitive Needle? Myra did an awesome job on the finishing.
Great find with that tablecloth!

I am in agreement with you, it is getting too dark too early nowadays. I am glad we turn the clocks back an hour soon! I can use an extra hour! lol!

What a great finish, that Halloween pillow is so sweet!

Your latest Halloween finish is adorable, Chris. I had pulled that one to stitch, too, but don't think I'll get to it... Love the way Myra finished it for you, too!

Oh, that sweet black cat face--love it!! I'm sure you were certainly missed :)

I am okay as long as the sun is shining. Once it is dark I can feel the blahs setting in. Love your finished piece! Your cat is adorable, too.
