I Could Live Here...

Hello Friends!
Thanks for checking in on my blog. Please forgive me for not commenting on blogs this week. I have been reading some but I am currently on sensory overload and typing on a mobile device is a pain in the tush.
Anyway...
This morning we headed down to the coast early to Cannon Beach to see this...

Haystack rock. This piece of coastline is so beautiful. We got a few good glimpses of it in between the fog rolling in and out. Rich and I took a nice long walk on this beach.
Then we headed up the road to Seaside.

This is where Lewis and Clark ended their journey.
Rich and I played a little Skee-ball.

I came away with the highest score.
Then it was on up the road to Astoria. I could live in Astoria. What a cool little town.

This was our first stop for lunch. Bosnian food, you never see anything like this where I live.

Yum! Lunch was fabulous.
So we did a lot of walking after that.

Main st.

I love this sign.

All the garbage cans had different designs based on items canned locally.

Big ships at anchor on the Colimbia River.

We rode back on the trolley.

Then we checked out this site that you may recognize...

From The Goonies! I love that movie.
I could move to Astoria!

Here is my stitching progress.
Now I need to sleep!
Have a great night. I can't wait until tomorrow!

I hope you get to the Lewis/Clark museum in Washington just across the river. It is great!Have a great trip. I get to home to the beautiful NW on Tues!!!YEA!!!

Wow, that picture of Cannon Beach took me back to a wonderful day in my life. My husband proposed to me there 19 years ago. Thanks for that!!

Me, too, I could live there, too. Is there anything better than having the ocean and the mountains within reach.
