Thanks For The Inspiration

I recently had to put together a gift for one of my friends. I usually stitch her something holiday themed, Halloween or 4th of July.
After seeing all the fabulous Jubilee exchanges over at Stitched With Love Blog. I decided I needed to stitch something jubilee themed for my friend. The only problem that I had was access to a suitable pattern. I only found a couple available here in the US.
Here is what I decided on...

This is the design by The Sampler Girl. What a fun design to stitch. I used the recommended DMC colors.
Here is the back...

The backing is just a plush cream color.
Here is a picture of everything that I included in her package.

I added a pair of Union Jack Scissors and a couple of tins of Harney & Sons tea. The tin on the right is their Diamond Jubilee blend. The other flavor is cinnamon spice. If you love tea you should try this one.
Thanks everyone for the inspiration. Thank you Lainey for hosting such wonderful exchanges. I hope to participate in another one soon.

Happy Monday Peeps!

Since I've been mounting samplers for a few days, the first thing I noticed is how perfectly your border lines up. Darling design and impeccable finishing.

What a wonderful gift package for your friend : ) One of my favorite teas, if not THE favorite, is H&S Cinnamon Spice. I wanted to try the Jubilee blend when I saw it advertised a while back but then I totally forgot about it! I've made a note for myself now & will order some to try : )
