Sweet!

Hello Friends!
I Monday my post was looking forward to a great week and I have to say that I have not been disappointed.
Dinner and catching up with friends, buying some smaller size clothes, treats in the mail....I am a lucky girl.
This is what landed in my mailbox today.

Barbara over at The Wicked Stitcher passed this wonderful chart to me. Hop on over to her blog to see her wonderful finish.
Also last Saturday Myra left this same stitched piece at Spring Robin for framing when we went to Salisbury. So this design has been top of mind for me.
I did some stash diving and came up with a piece of 28ct Meadow Rue Lakeside Linen and all but 3 of the fibers. I think you will be seeing another WIP here soon.
I also won 5 free Zumba classes. What a great surprise.

This is the last peony of the season. I didn't get a good pic and now this bloom is fading.
I am going to go back to stash diving and floss fondling now. Binx is feeling very neglected :)
How are your long weekend plans going? I am still working on what kind of trouble we can find locally. The ACC baseball tournament is in Greensboro, I might be ready for another ball game. I will keep you posted.

Sweet Dreams!

I just ordered the fibers for this pattern myself! Ha, but I haven't even thought about whether I have a good fabric for it. WHoops. Have a great weekend, whatever you decide to do!

I love this piece and I will be adding it to my stash in the near future.I'm planning on staying close to home this weekend. We have a big Taste of Cincinnati downtown and I'm going to eat myself silly on Sunday. Hope you have a great weekend!

What an exciting new project. Have fun starting it! No long weekend sadly in Australia and 5months away from peonies. What a beautiful peony you have in your garden!

This weekend I'm putting down mulch and trying to sweat off the 2# Cadbury bar I just ate. Enjoy yours in your smaller clothes!

Mmmm, dangerous, I have this chart and absolutely love it, but had pushed it to the back of my mind. I really need to finish other things before starting something new.

Something a little sad about the last peony, isn't there?
Mine are definitely on the way out. They got battered pretty hard last night by 2.5 hours of very welcome rain.

Have a great rest of this special weekend.

Penny America is such a great design. I know you're going to enjoy stitching this one!
I can't believe your peonies have already bloomed. Mine are planted on the north side of the house and so far I just have buds. From the looks of it they should bloom in the next week.
