This is where I ended up. I saw a billboard on the highway for this exhibit. It was if Russian icons and some Faberge pieces. They had a small egg pendant, not one of the large ones. It was a beautiful exhibit.
Then this museum was next door.
So of course I had to go in and see the Wyeth exhibit. I also saw some wonderful SC paintings.
Then lunch...
I found a place called the Pita House. When I got there the line was to the door. I got the Vegetable plate. I think that this is some of the best hummus that I have ever had.
So what was next...
A cross stitch store.. Panda's Crossing in Maudlin, SC. It is more of a bead store but had an excellent cross stitch store too. The salesperson was knowledgeable and very helpful.
This is why I piled up. I guess I was in a good mood, look at all those sweet spring colors.
So, after my retail therapy session I hopped in the car and headed back to the rally in Callison, SC. I had just turned onto 67 which is this long back road that you drive 5mph plus on. When I saw something in the road. And then it moved. I thought it was a puppy someone had dumped. So I whip my car around. Scoop that puppy up and head the final 10 miles down the road back to the rally.
Here's the little guy and he's not a puppy....he's a baby gray fox. So now what?
Fortunately the people hosting the rally got hold of someone last night who does animal rescue and she is taking care of him. When I find out more I will update you.
The rally caravan went out to Troy, SC for dinner at a place called the Hash House. This little crossroads has no cell reception or anything.
After that Rich and I went to the drive in to see The Hunger Games.
It rained some but we had a good time.
Are you tired yet?
I don't think today is going to be as crazy.
Have a great weekend friends!
I will catch up on my blog reading and comments when I get home.

O my goodness - the little gray fox is absolutely adorable! Poor little thing. It sounds like you hooked him up with the right people, so that is great.
Nice stash haul there too - did you get any time to stitch? LOL

Oh my, the baby fox is so cute! My daughter has been researching foxes for some time and has decided she'll own one when she's grown. HA! So, pass it her way if it needs a home. LOL
Fun day! Thanks for rescuing that baby fox.
There you go - you had a great time whether sun or rain! Thanks for rescuing that baby. Bet his teeth were like needles??
Chris - your posts leave me breathless. You are one busy lady and you do such interesting things!
The NKOTBSB concert was AMAZING! I haven't had such a good night for ages. My love affair with Jordan Knight continues...wow can that man dance!
Chris: I think we all need a day to our selves, I love your stash, such lovely colors.
The fox is so young I hope he or she survives, we had a gray arktic fox for many years long ago when we were young he was a treat lots of alone time was his idea of fun however he did entertain us when he wanted to.
We no longer have drive-in movies they just were not popular the last 20 years us oldster like myself yearn for the good old drive-in the ishy hotdogs and the satle popcorn, ahh the good old days.
Happy Stitching
Catherine

What a fun day, with some great food and some new stash. What do you want more? Lol.
I'm still trying to figure out how you did so much (an understatement, to be sure) in one day and then typed about it on your iphone. I feel so old!
