This is from the 2007 JCS ornament issue and it is designed by Designs by Cathy Jean. The kit I had came had the recommended fibers and fabric in it.
This is the backing fabric that I used. I am happy with this one.
Next month's theme is snowflakes. I did spend some time looking through my magazines for a design that I liked but finally settled on something that I also had kitted up since what I really wanted to stitch would require further stash diving. Wish me luck, blending filament is involved.
I put a few more stitches in Eveline tonight, but not enough to show.
I am glad that tomorrow is Friday and I hope this gorgeous weather holds out.
Have a great weekend!
Chris

Your ornanment and the backing fabric are just perfect. What a great SAL this is turning out to be! Can't wait to see the snowflake ornament. The filament is going to really make it. I have every confidence in your ability to make it work.

A perfect finish! I have always liked this ornament. Sooner or later I'll get around to stitching it myself.
Darling ornament and a great finish!
Cute ornie Chris! Love how you finished it!
Great finish, love that design. CJ in OK ;-)

Chris your ornament is lovely, and the material on the back looks fab.
Another beautiful ornament, Chris! Looking forward to seeing what snowflake you choose. TGIF! Enjoy!
Your ornament is really beautiful Chris! Looking forward to seeing your snowflake.
We've been having lovely warm, sunny weather here in the U.K. too, fortunately right in time for our holiday last week. It continued this week but will get cooler and less sunny from tomorrow.
Nice finishing!
Great job - very nice finish!!
Love this pattern. I have done it several times myself. very nice.
Love your ornament for this month Chris. I'm really enjoying this SAL and seeing what everyone stitches.
Such a darling ornament finish, Chris! Good luck on the snowflake--I avoid blending filament at all costs!!
Enjoy your weekend now...
Your ornament turned out beautifully, Chris! Love it! I hope your weather holds out, too. We took a turn back to winter and it has been really yucky for the last few days. Oh well, it was grand while it lasted.
SOO pretty, Chris :)
Chris, I love this little design. The backing fabric that you selected is a perfect accent for it, as is the green cording. What a special tree you will have later this year with all your new finishes!
Ooooh, great ornament finish!
