Time To Get Going!

Yes, time to start another work week.

Yesterday was spent catching up on house work for the week, changed the bed, laundry, vacuuming, grocery shopping...
After that I did spend a little time stitching. Here is my progress on the mystery sampler.

I was playing with the king camera photo app.
I am going to have to put this aside to stitch a small. I had started one but I have lost the floss that I was using. I spent a lot of time Friday night tearing the house apart trying to find it. It either fell off the chair into the garbage can that I keep there or the evil cats have hidden it.

One of the first signs of fall arrived in my mailbox this weekend. I really need to stitch some more fall things to put up at that time of year.

This is the first year that I have had fresh figs from the plant in my garden. I have only had a couple since I have been sharing with the birds. There is nothing better than fresh figs.

Well I have to go into work now.
Thanks for all your kind comments.

Happy Monday!

You're right about fresh figs. I haven't had any in years so naturally, now I want one. I seem to be craving everything food this morning. Have a good week!

Oh - love the fig pic, that is too cool!
You are coming along really nicely on the mystery sampler. It will look fabulous!
Hope you find the floss or a substitute soon - I have been there; running around in the house thinking that I've lost my marbles somewhere - not a great feeling... Let's blame the cats! LOL

Figs! Wow! I've never known anyone who grew figs. Would you believe I've never even tasted a fresh fig, Chris?

Your sampler is so pretty--hope your missing floss surfaces soon!

Lucky girl! I love fresh figs. My parents used to have a tree but the roots grew and ruined some brickwork on the patio and my dad ripped it out.

Great progress on your mystery sampler.

Love the progress on the mystery sampler. I just love the colors in this. I can't wait to get my Halloween issue. See some on the cover that I must stitch. :)

I hope you get to eat some of the figs before the birds. :)

Lovely stitching.
I never ate a fresh fig. If I ever come across one I'll have to give it a try.

Yay! Your magazine arrived. You are making good progress on the mystery sampler. My mother had a fig tree that my brother gave her for mother's day one year. I can remember that thing being loaded with figs but I didn't eat them. LOL
