Ceramic Party

Last night after work I joined my coworkers for a retirement celebration at the Mad Platter in Greensboro. I had not been to one of these places before. You pick out a piece of ceramic and paint it. It was a lot of fun and provided a place where you could visit and move around.

So in about 10 days I will get this back. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. I should have done some switch plates but I didn't see them until later. I think I will take my Mom to do this. It was fun. It was also interesting to see what other people did.
Dinner was pizza an cake.

Is this cake amazing or what? Inside was white cake with outline icing in between the layers.
After the party I went with some friends from the party to Churchill's in downtown Greensboro for some music and dancing. The band was great and
I enjoyed dancing with my friends. When I got home it was about 1:40 and when I came in the door Binx was all puffed up! All his fur was sticking up and his tail was all fluffy, I guess he was scared.
Today was spent doing laundry, grocery shopping, getting a haircut, and some stitching.

Now I have to do the finishing on this little piece.
Tomorrow is a work day, but not until 10am.
I have been posting from my iPhone and seem to be making more spelling mistakes. Forgive me, these little keys on the touch screen are temperamental.
Thanks for your comments.

That ceramic party sounds like lots of fun. It is always interesting to see how things look after they are fired. My mom and I did quite a bit of ceramics when I was in high school.

Poor Binx - wonder what spooked him?

Isn't the auto correct on the iPhone a pain in the behind?
