Pray for me

I have no diet coke in the house. My morning routine is the alarm goes off and I go downstairs right to the fridge to have my diet coke. I am trying to drop it, it really isn't good for me, yadda, yadda, yadda. I had a few moments of panic on my way home today, I almost turned into Food Lion to pick up some. Tomorrow I am working both jobs and I am fighting a cold. Things might get ugly. I will keep you posted.

This is The Workbasket ornament from the 2005 JCS ornament issue. I put in a few stitches at lunch today.

I might try get a few more stitches in tonight.
Later.

Are you going cold turkey with regard to giving it up? I'm a diet coke/coke zero-aholic too. I'm alternating between that and diet sprite to cut down the caffeine to start with. I'm trying to drink more water too, as a new year resolution.

I like your new ornament you are working on. Lovely thread colour.

One of my sister's resolutions this year was to give up her diet coke, too, Chris...Guess you're not the only one. I hope you can "kick the habit!"

Oh wow Chris - cold turkey? It is tough but I know you can do it. I'll be praying for strength to resist the urge for you. I like the looks of that ornament.

Wow! Good luck with that. Maybe if you make for a long time, I'll be able to give up my regular Cokes... no pressure or anything! ; ) Enjoying your stitching updates, too!

Ok Chris - you do not need the diet coke - step away from the beverage and don't look back -
Hang in there

Good luck!! I'm a total Pepsi addict and am trying to cut it back too... right now I'm suffering from one heck of a headache that I'm sure is due to caffeine withdrawal!!
