Day 2

Day 2 with no diet coke.
It has gone ok, thanks everyone for your sympathy and encouragement.

There has not been much stitching happening.  I am fighting the head cold that has been going around. Yuck!

It is great seeing everyone's 15 starts challenge. There are beautiful things being stitched.

I love this picture so I thought I would share since I have no stitching to show.

Have a good night :)

Chris

Hello Chris,

Thank you for posting one my new blog and your compliments as well. Yes, I remember you -- we were at the needlework shop and I was showing you and your group of friends my designs. The hair on my Fraktur based angel was all done in bullions. I'm sorry to say, I've put that design aside but hope to pick it up soon and finish it. I am just starting out as a professional designer under the name Heart's Ease Examplar Workes. Your critique of my designs would be most appreciated. I hope the stitching community will like what I will be publishing.

It was good to hear from an old stitching friend and, again, thanks for your comments.

I fully sympathise with the 'no diet coke' challenge Chris. When I became pregnant I didn't want to have any caffeine in my diet at all, so diet coke, tea and coffee went out of the window! I feel so much better for it now tho and allow myself the odd de-caf tea. Keep it up!

Oh Chris I am so sorry you have the "bug". Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Chris! I hope you're feeling better. Get lots of rest this weekend ... My friend went a little nuts when she was trying to get away from her beloved diet Pepsi. She got the worst headaches for a while! Feel better and good luck! Wishing you all good things and lots of fun in 2011! :) Paulette

Sorry you had to miss out on the stitch-in on THursday. Sounds like a really stubborn cold you've got!

I have no clue if Mom is coming to W'burg or not. She SHOULD be in the middle of the market rush, but I could be wrong. I'm staying Thursday night through Sunday, and may be entirely by myself. Mom and I are throwing around the idea of going to a retreat in Sturbridge, MA in July. You should ask her about it.
