Stalker

Yes, I am a stalker. This time of year...news stands, book stores and my mailbox...No One is SAFE!!!!
I can't wait to get my hands on this issue. I like to get 2 copies for my stash. I have stitched so many ornaments out of these over the years.

For about 4 or 5 years I was involved in a swap based on this issue. I have at least a dozen kits based on the last few years. The exchange has gone away and I really missed it this year. I have been trying to work on getting them stitched up. I have finished all my kits from the 2004 issue, now I am working on the 2005 issue. I am struggling with the Handwork ornament that I have been working on. The piece of linen is hardly big enough. I am also raiding my stash for floss. Hopefully I will have an updated pic this weekend.

I have EGA tomorrow night. The group is continuing the mystery band sampler. I will try and snap a picture tomorrow. Right now I am not attempting to stitch the piece, I am just collecting the chart. It will be great seeing everyone since I missed last month due to my surgery. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has been stitching.

Well, I am going to try and stitch a little.
Good Night.

Chris

My friend and I were at the LNS today and I reserved my copy. Then, when we got back to our homes later in the afternoon, there was a message on our voice mail, the issue was in! So now we have to go back...bummer, lol!
Anyway, it's always an exciting time, can't wait to see this years ornaments!

I love the JCS ornament issue too Chris. I was just looking at my 2008 and 2009 issues last night. They are dog eared I have looked at them so many times. I think I am going to order mine online as it takes forever for the bookstore at the mall to get it in. I can hardly wait to see the beauties in it this year.

Have fun at EGA!

I'm counting on Mom to let me 'borrow' her issue. Hopefully, she'll get hers soon. You should start your own ornament exchange! I'll bet lots of folks would enjoy participating (insert devilish smile here).

I know what you mean, Chris! I always look forward to the latest JCS ornament issue. I usually order mine through 123 Stitch because they will notify you via email as soon as they're ready to ship... Hope this issue is a good one)
