I finally sat down and stitched Sunday and finished Very Scary by Lizzie Kate.
I started one of the small extra designs that came with this chart pack. I want to stitch the small designs since I have the supplies and then I can pass the chart on to one of my stitching friends who has asked for it.
I am traveling and was back in Connecticut the first part of the week so I was able to have dinner with my CT stitching friends. We used to have potluck and stitch & bi*^% and Kathi would make this broccoli casserole...
We ate and stitched and talked. It was like I have not been gone for 16 years.
Kathi also has a black cat..
This is Roger. I had some kitty quality time, broccoli casserole, hugs from friends...it was perfect.
But then my alarm rang this morning and brought the start of another long travel day.
So it is now a little after 7pm... I am in Texas and ready for bed!
Sweet Dreams! Thanks for stopping by
Chris

I am glad you had such a nice time with your friends.
What an adorable new stitch.
Hooray on the finish! Love this one! Glad you got time with your friends in CT. Safe travels, as always!
Such a cute finish, Chris! With so much traveling it is nice that you could spend time with friends and enjoy that delicious food. :) Love black cats! And what a cute piece you are working on!
Wonderful finish
What a great finish, Chris! I'm so glad cross-stitching is such a portable hobby for you with all your travels. I honestly can't imagine traversing the country like you do! I just got back from a 10 hour flight from Buenos Aires and am wiped out :)
Congratulations on your Very Scary finish! It looks great. Your snowman piece is off to a good start, Chris. Happy to hear that you were able to spend time with your stitching friends, comfort food and Roger. Enjoy your weekend!
Very nice finish. If that's the one I have the recipe for, I LOVE that broccoli casserole (if not, it looks really good). Sounds like you had a good time in CT. I've been seeing a lot of black cats on the web lately - I have two myself.
Very Scary is very nice! Amazing that you were able to stitch something that size with all your travelling.
I love your L*K finish :) And I love to follow where all you go for work. Here there and EVERYWHERE!
:)
So great that you could meet your stitching friends for a get-together.
Congratulations on finishing the L*K piece, I love this one. And your new start is just as awesome. I am also in the mood to stitch snowmen, lots of them, lol.
Oh how cute that Snowman chart is! Two of my favorite things, penguins and snowmen.
Cute little kitty too. :)
