Dear Annette over at the California Stitcher nominated me for this award back at the end of April. Thank you Annette! I know that many of you have posted 7 things about yourselves and I have enjoyed getting to know more about my blog buddies. Since I am so late to the game I am just going to do the 7 things and ask anyone that hasn't participated in this to go ahead and grab the award and do a post. You are all brave and inspiring to me!
So... here we go....
1-I met Rich at Danbury Fair Mall in Danbury, CT. It was the 80's, 1986 to be exact....almost 30 years ago....
2-I was born a couple of weeks early, actually it was 9 months and 6 days after my parents wedding. I was jaundiced and had to have a blood transfusion. I try and give blood on a regular basis since I was a recipient and have a - blood type.
3- I consider myself to be a shy person( there are many who would disagree with this statement).
4-Since Rich and I have been married we have had the following cats...
Millie Peanut
Smokey
Belle
Cookie Boy(she was a girl and the vet's office always just called her Cookie and it irritated me)
Lexie( one of the Big Girls)
Sable(the other Big Girl)
Binx
Beau
I would love to have a dog but Rich and I are not home enough to properly care for one. If I have the chance to visit with a friend who has a dog I am very happy.
5-I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! It is my favorite sweet. Vickie took me out for some amazing frozen custard in Milwaukee. I also love this ice cream, http://www.graeters.com/.
6- I would love to do a walking holiday in England.
7-I am a floss licker.
So there you have it.
Thanks for visiting!
Chris

I am a floss licker too!
lolol! Floss licker! lol! I enjoyed your facts. Very much! I LOVE ice cream!
What a fun post. When I lived in Louisville and my dear sister lived in Cincinnati we often had Graters Ice cream!!
Have you had Moomers Ice Cream in Traverse City MIchigan? The best I have ever had.

Well Chris, if you ever do a walking holiday in England, you have to go to the Lake District and the Peak District. We are a two to three hour drive from the Lake District and we love to visit it every year - it's beautiful.
tee hee! I am also a floss licker.
When we met, I did not think you shy. We talked quite a bit, and I felt like you and I were old friend. :D
Ha-ha. Fun post Chris. I, too, am a floss licker...though I haven't stitched in months!!! I need to get back to it.
I enjoyed your list of seven things about you. Hmmm, I love ice cream and lick my floss as well!
Enjoy your weekend!

Jaundice and ice cream--we have so much in common! But I was only born 6 months after my parents' wedding! :) (Shocking. My mother's defense is that they were engaged. They'd been engaged for a long time. Since they've been married for 48 years, I think they can be forgiven.) (Oops, just outed myself!)
Yes, I have to disagree -- I don't think you are shy :) So glad we got to meet. Next time we should get some ice cream! :) Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
I was a month late! And born 11 months after the wedding so people were still counting on their fingers LOL
I also floss-lick and love ice-cream. We have so much in common.
I'm definitely not shy though.
Holding my hand up..... another floss licker here.
Nice to learn all these facts about you :)
LOL, I see we're not alone in being a floss licker!
I was born premature... two months, weighed 4 1/2 lbs.
Loved reading the trivia about you. :)
Oh that was so much fun reading more about you!!! How lovely Chris!
I cracked up at floss licker!!! You are not alone....
love Annette
