Some Stitching

Hello Friends.
With all the excitement going on last weekend there was still a little stitching going on.
Here is my progress on the Nancy Jhonson sampler. I hope to have this finished soon. It will probably still take me a couple of weeks.
I finished this motif on my Margaret Randolph sampler at the hotel one night last weekend.
Here is an overall view of this sampler. Hopefully I will be spending some time with her in a couple of weeks.
Then when I was tired of tire kicking at the rally on the last afternoon I pulled this out of my travel bag to start. I really need to get some more patriotic stitching done. I didn't look at the picture just at the graph, can you spot the difference?

Since I am at home now I will try to focus on finishing Beggar's Night and Nancy Jhonson. I will try not to be tempted to start anything else new.. there are some things that are some SALs that are calling me on The BBD blog and The By The Bay blog. Go check them out.

So that is it from here. We made it to another weekend!

Enjoy!

Chris

Both projects look great! I too am tempted by the BBD sew along. Not sure yet what I'll do. Spending lots of time trying to get my knee to bend!!

Oh the samplers are looking good - every stitch helps. And the patriotic sheep is adorable - you've made it your own. I think I'm going to do the BBD SAL - shouldn't start another project but couldn't resist. Have a great weekend!

I spot the difference and I'd just leave it and put red on the bottom. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. You're working on some great projects!

I like Jackie's suggestion - lwave he red and add more red at the bottom. I does look great Chris!

Chris you are doing well on all your stitching .
Yes I would leave it now, or if it really bothers you stitch over it in blue it will give you a 3D affect , I have done this before and looks ok, hugs .

Beautiful samplers, & I have that little Bent Creek kit in my stash to stitch up one of these days : ) Yes, I spot the difference : ) I can never have too many patriotic/Americana themed pieces but they are lacking since I've been stitching so much Christmas stuff : )

I don't think anyone would notice your little mistake Chris. I like both designs.

Oh the blues in Margaret are fabulous. An upside down flag is a sign of distress!
