What Day Is It & Where Did The Past Week Go?!?

I know that I used to be able to work, exercise, stitch, cook, blog, etc..... But I can't seem to do it all right now. I keep trying to figure out what has changed.
Anyone else going through this?
Well, that being said here are some snaps from the past week...
Here is my progress on Nancy Jhonson, she really is sweet.
Binx has been keeping me from stitching some nights. He looks determined.
A sweet treat from a patient at work for helping them. Something like this just makes your day.
Rich and I went for a hike on Saturday and Sunday. We had lots of rain so the water was high. I am really bad at staying dry trying to cross rocks like this.
Trying not to get wet!
Lots more green everywhere.
These tree peonies were blooming in my Mom's garden when we went over for dinner on Sunday. They are short lived so I am very glad that I got to see them.

Some new yummo stash showed up. I had better get stitching!
Well, those are some highlights. Lots of good things.
Thanks as always for stopping by. I hope there are lots of little things that are bringing you some joy in your day!

At the end of every day I ask myself... Is that all you've accomplished today?
The tree peony is beautiful!

Maybe our body and mind give us a hint that we need to slow down and take a little break. Or we're getting old. Either one. Never saw a peony in two colors and love your little sampler!

That tree peony is so gorgeous. I wish I had some of those in my yard.
Your stitching is looking lovely Chris. I know what you mean about not getting as much accomplished these days. It's not us slowing down...it's just time moving faster! ;) xoxo

I'm not good at crossing streams either. I always seem to end up in the water.

Be kind to yourself - it is ok to not get it all done. I'm not even close to getting it all done!

I know that feeling. Recently the days just seem to get away from me and I am always feeling behind. Ugh. Your stitching looks wonderful. Beautiful pics from your hiking too!

Chris: Great progress on Nancy Johnson, I am the same way, sometimes I get a mental block for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden bam I am back to my old self, and stitching like mad, I think it has something to do with seasonal changes, beautiful floral picture,Binx is looking so lovey dovey.

Aww, sweet Binx. Well he needs some loving. What a gorgeous tree peony. Never saw one before. I am NOT looking repeatedly at your new stash. NO I am not. ;)

Sweet Binx! So cute. Tyg doesn't do much lap sitting, but will sprawl on a table where I have a pattern and threads...your hike looks like it was great...love all the Spring colors popping up all over and your stitching looks so pretty of course. Me too, with where did the time go? I'm simply exhausted every evening...maybe it has to do with the long, cold winter...

I know just how you feel, Chris, and I only work part-time!! Just never enough hours in the day. How sweet of that patient to give you that yummy treat. It's always special to be recognized by people we help, isn't it?

Lovely looking sampler and hike--things are really blooming down south! It is only 45 here today--sure hope it warms up as the day goes on :)

I agree Chris, I can't keep up these days and often wonder why time seems to fly past so quickly.
What a lovely peony, so frilly and bonnie.

You look like you've gotten a lot accomplished, to me! Your sampler WIP is lovely and so is your new stash! I have the Colonial Gatherings one but have yet to start it - soon, I hope.
That tree peony is so pretty and the hike looks like it was fun. You seem like a pretty active gal, to me but I hope your high energy level returns soon.

The days just whizz past here, I get nowhere near as much done as I used to.

Love the Nancy Jhonson piece. Binx looks like he's in total control of the situation! Your flower and hiking photos are lovely. I think you might just have more energy than I do!

Chris I'm having trouble doing it all lately too!

Hmm Hunter seems to be doing the same thing lately he's literally pushing my stitching out of the way or sitting ON my arms so I can't move!!!

For sure life gets overwhelming at times..especially if you work outside the home too. Just lay low and recharge your batteries. Looks like another wonderful walk. I think your new BB patriotic chart is calling my name!

You're probably still regaining your stamina from the illness. It does take longer than you think it should. But you're doing a lot in my book! Pretty stitching and hiking to see all the spring loveliness!

That feeling is not new to me either. Every morning when I get up I have so many plans of things that I want to do that day but in the evening I see that not half of all this has been done, lol. But the things that I have accomplished usually make me happy, even if it's only one thing.
You've got some nice new stash. And the sampler is coming along great.

It's called "getting older"! I was thinking time is moving so fast and I'm not even working these days! Whatever, just enjoy and be happy.

Holy moley, look at those awesome tree peonies! I should have those as they're red and white - Canadian, eh? I have two tree peonies and adore them now that they are grand ole' ladies and have such gorgeous blooms though they will bloom next month.

Look at those two wonderful projects! I was just about to ask you about the BBD one when I squinted and could see it's for the Lady's Prim Club of which I am, thankfully, a member! woo-hoo!

Happy Stitching!

I refuse to believe that my time issues are because I'm getting older - I know a lot of mine is that there are so many interruptions during the day that I really can't focus on doing all the things that need or I want to do. Very nice gift from your patient. The peony is beautiful as is your new stash.

I'm pretty sure you and I are in the same place haha. I want to blog, stitch, craft, build etc etc etc myself into oblivion but I just don't seem to have the time. Really making a conscious effort lately to check in on blogging which is starting to help me find time to stitch.

Lovely new stash and I really wish I lived somewhere I could hike through a beautiful forest! Your photo's are lovely :)
