Murphy's Law

I think that one of Murphy's laws is that the minute you pick up your keys to leave the house it starts to rain harder. At least that is how this Monday has started. The other tech has called out and we have no internet at work so everything is at a complete standstill. May I have a Do Over?
I hope that your week is starting off better than mine. How was your weekend? Saturday was a beautiful day. Rich went down to Charlotte for the Auto Fair and I ran errands, packed up some books and did some cooking.
Sunday was not as pretty as the front was coming in. Binx was cold.
See the lump in the bed next to Beau?

Rich and I took a short hike. There were some signs of spring...
This rain is really going to make the leaves pop. It always amazes me how the world looks different every day this time of year.
I got a little more stitching done on Nancy.
There is some over one... I was hoping to get more done. Hopefully I can put a few more stitches in tonight.
Here's hoping that the rest of the week is good!

Since everything at work is at a standstill, does that mean you get to stay home today? I sure hope so : ) So very cute to see the kitties on & under the quilt. Right now Sophie has her body draped over the heater as it's rather chilly this morning & they are calling for rain all day. Nancy is looking good! I hope the rest of the week will improve for you : )

Binx and Beau are so sweet. :)

Hope your day goes better. We have been having internet issues at work for the last couple of weeks - absolutely nothing to do when it's taking its break - so frustrating. None of my cats have discovered the joy of being under the covers, rather strange for me as both of my previous ones did when they were very young.

Stitching looks lovely , and your Spring flowers.
l Love your bedspread chris.
We got rain today too, and yesterday and Saturday .
But the sun is trying hard to come out now.

Aw, Binx and Beau are so adorable. We had pretty weather too but it still seems chilly! Love the progress you are making on your sampler. Have a great week!

It's funny when they sleep under the covers, our two disappear for hours when they do this. The weather with us today has been miserable too - it's just starting to brighten after raining all day.

Cats find the silliest places to snuggle down... how sweet.

Nancy is coming along beautifully!
My Jingles does the same thing as your Binx. I always find him under my covers all snuggled in. Then I have to stick my head under and give him lots of kisses...of course! (I'm sure you do the same!) Pretty pictures Chris! xoxo

Rainy Monday makes me want to stay home and stitch or read! Especially when it's so chilly in the office. Soup tonight!!

We could use some rain here! The irrigation canals won't be full for a few more days yet and my lawn is dried up. Hope your week straightens out. :)

Oh yes, I know Murphy's Law. Right now we are on vacation and what happens? We get ill, my husband and I. We usually never get ill but on vacation it seems to different, lol.
Very nice progress on your little sampler. It uses nice colours.

Ahhhh....I love kitties hiding under quilts. Makes me miss Dagi so much! It is spring here in full force. Our garden is just blooming like mad. Jos decided that he wanted many bulbs planted last fall and it is now time to reap the rewards with tulips and daffodils.

Hugs from Holland,
Heidi

Your week sounds like mine, Chris... I got to work Tuesday night to find our library catalog was down. It's very difficult to work with no catalog and not knowing if a book is on the shelves or if we even own the book at all. Very frustrating!

Lovely progress on your sampler and I enjoyed seeing your signs of spring. We don't have anything in bloom at all up here yet--very late this year...

My cats do this sometimes! It turns out quite amusing in the end because someone always pounces on the cat underneath!

I guess we have to have those days to appreciate the good ones. Hope the days ahead are full of sun, smiles, fun, and stitching.

Now that this week is almost over, I hope that things brightened up a bit for you, Chris. One positive part about the springtime showers, is that they do make "all things bright and beautiful ", don't they?

Very nice progress on your sampler too, Chris.

Blessings for the coming week ahead!
