The Past Week

Hello Friends.
I hope that you have been having a great weekend. It is another Sunday here and it is raining.
I had a few more things to show you from the trip to Roanoke.
This is the Appalachian Press store. They have wonderful cards and bookmarks and prints. They also has some subversive cross stitch. The staff said that they sell like crazy.
It was also Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day celebration. I love seeing all the green.
Rich and I also checked out the Grandin  neighborhood of Roanoke.
Look at this cool fire station.
Isn't the fire house dog fabulous?
Thank you Roanoke for a wonderful time.
This week had also been busy catching up with friends. My pharmacist's birthday is this week and her son who is a chef made a wonderful meal for us.
He also made all of these wonderful fruit sorbets...
Yum. I really need to get back to my diet and to exercising.

I did manage to finish this Lizzie Kate Freebie. Now I need to get back to Beggar's Night. I hope to have another finish this week.
Have a peaceful Sunday!

Chris

Roanoke looks like a great place to visit. I've only driven around it after dropping my college girl off at her school in Lynchburg. I need to go look up what subversive cross stitch is.
