Aftermath

Hello Friends.
Thanks for all the concern and well wishes for my Mom.
The skies were a beautiful blue yesterday and the weather warmed up to the mid 60's. Rich and I loaded up all his equipment and we headed up to my Mom's. We live about 40 minutes away from her.

Here is the tree that hit the roof.

This is the tree down in her back yard. She has a couple of huge live oaks back there and fortunately they did not come down or lose many branches.
Rich got right to work.

Rich has to go back up today to finished removing one tree so that they can get the electricity turned back on. The insurance company will be out Tuesday to look at things again.
Please keep sending good thoughts my Mom's way. They are much appreciated.

Here is a little sign of spring. This hellebore is so pretty.

I have a little more progress on Beggar's Night.
Well that is it for now. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Yikes! Hope this will be the last hurray for all that crazy weather! It seems every time spring tries to make an appearance, it gets pushed back by another wicked storm. Hope your mom has a better week.
Love the stitching!
