The Past Couple of Days

Hello Friends!
I hope that the weekend was good for you. The weather here has been mild the last couple of days.

The hellebores are blooming.

Such delicate colors.

The deer have eaten all of the leaves off the plants. I am glad to see that they are still blooming.

I have made a little stitching progress.

I am enjoying the colors in this LHN piece.

I am reading Bread Alone and listening to The Invention Of Wings.

I made some pumpkin bread with walnuts.

When I don't have bananas for banana bread this is something that I make. Rich usually takes a slice of bread to work as part of his lunch.

There were 8 that left comments about stitching the Little House Needlework chart "Blessed."
the Random Number Generator picked #4. Penny S. !!! The chart is yours. Please email me with your address so that I can mail the chart to you.

Rich and I are still trying to get over this crud. I think that the upcoming week will be low key for us.

Thanks for dropping by.
I hope the upcoming week is a good one for you!

Chris

I do like your new stitching choice, lovely rich colours. The bread looks very tempting and the hellebores are one of my favourite flowers.

Enjoy your books. I was recommended the Secret Life of Bees the same author you are listening to the other day by an avid reader.
Nice stitching progress.

Hope this week sees you both free from the dreaded germs.

Argh! I hate that hanging on of the "crud". One just gets so tired of it. The pumpkin bread looks yummy. I just read Sue Monk's The Secret Life of Bees so I am interested in checking out The Invention of Wings.
