Whoosh! Where Did That Week Go?

Howdy Friends!
I hope that everyone has had a great weekend. It is almost time to start another work week. Today was my first day off since coming back from Charleston and it warmed up for me and the sun was out.

So Rich and I headed out for a hike. It felt good to be outside. I don't often see ice here but it has been cold enough for ice to be rimming the creeks.

There were trees down in a couple of places from recent storms that have come through. It is always nice to take the time to look around on our hikes.
I have managed a little progress on my Summer Tribute Sampler. She is so pretty.

I have not signed up to participate in the Stitch From Stash SAL but I am trying to do that this year. I have been enjoying everyone's updates on their SFS progress.
Once I get Summer Tribute finished I want to finish my Deerfield, MA WIP. After that maybe some ornaments. Of course, Nashville is right around the corner.... I need to be strong.
The cold weather in supposed to be back during the week, after that I hope it will ease up. People have been very cranky at work. I think it has been due to the weather. I am hoping for a peaceful week.

Thank you as always for visiting and your kind comments.

Wishing you all a peaceful week too!

Chris

Summer Tribute is so pretty. You are getting close to being finished. Since stitching is my biggest vice and I'm going to the Attic next week, I have not joined the Stitch form Stash even though I should!! Looks like a nice walk. I have been getting in my 150+ minutes a week of fast walking(fast for me that is). We have had a beautiful winter unlike that rest of the country.

Summer Tribute is looking so good. We are back to the bitter cold again. No school for the two teens today and tomorrow.

I didn't sign up for STS either Chris, but am trying hard to use what I have.

Looks like you had a great hike! It's not hiking weather here (-5F and the temp is on its way down to -16F). I hope you have a mellow work week. I am sooo happy that I'm retired!

Your Summer Tribute sampler is beautiful. Love it!

Hope your week goes well and that the weather stays kind to you. It seems to be all over the place at the moment, swinging wildly from one thing to another.

Love your Summer Tribute piece! So nice that you got out for a hike before the deep freeze. I'm watching the temps drop as we speak.

Hope your week is going well. Glad you were able to get out for at least a little while. I am so ready for spring this year - this type of weather is one of the reasons I moved from New Hampshire. Summer Tribute is really pretty.

Beautiful progress. That is a lovely design.
I have enough stash to last me for years. I shouldn't have to buy anything again...EVER!
But that won't stop me.
I can't resist.
