Annual Christmas Breakfast

Today was the Piedmont Heritage Sampler Guild's holiday party.
Our member Elizabeth graciously opened her home to us.

Elizabeth's tree and house were decorated with amazing needlepoint pieces that she has stitched.
Here are a few of my favorites...

Texas Pete is a local company and is many people's hot sauce of choice.

Chick-fil-a. Yes there were Chicken minis on today's menu.

This wonderful tinsel tree with it's ornaments.

The lovely flowers on her table...

And then there was breakfast...

Danishes, pumpkin roll and a yogurt bar.

Sausage balls, chicken minis, mini ham biscuits and a sausage and cheese breakfast casserole.

Bagels and cream cheese. To drink there was juice, coffee or tea. It was a wonderful meal. Thank you every one for their contribution to the menu.
After the meal we had our annual Christmas exchange. What we have done for the past 2 years is a freebie chart swap. There are so many wonderful designs available. So pick one of your favorites and print up enough copies for the members and everyone goes home with a new stack of projects.

Here we are passing them around.
For the members who were not able to attend you were missed and Robin has collected charts for you.
Now onto 2014! The guild has a wonderful schedule of programs for 2014. Check the blog for details after the first of the year.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful 2013 full of stitching and samplers.

Happy Holidays!

Must have been great. What a good idea to exchnage those frrebie charts. I love the ornaments on the tree. If my son could see the Coke one he'd certainly want me to stitch it for him, lol.

I love the diet coke ornament ... reminds me so much of cola's advert every year, with santa and the truck. The food looks very yummy too.
