November TUSAL

Can you believe it is November already? Not many threads added to my jar this month.

Here is Beau, the stealth ninja cat. He is always on the bed waiting to be petted if you are in the bedroom. He purrs and does a lot of head butting.

Here is some of my Sunday cooking to get ready for the upcoming week. Butternut squash and cheesy spaghetti squash casserole for my lunches. Some grilled chicken for Caesar salads one night for dinner. I also did some baked pasta with meat sauce for dinner tonight and leftovers later in the week.

Rich and I took our normal 7 mile hike this morning. It was gorgeous out.

Look at this funky fungus on this tree. See all the lines?
I had a chance to takes some pics of my lovely gifts from Myra but will post those tomorrow.
That is is for now. Have a great week!

We used to be in the habit of prepping meals on Sunday's soon. It's a good habit, one we need to get back into. It looks like you do the same thing!

I have never seen fungus growing on a tree like that!

How incredibly organized of you...fixing several meals in advance. Looks like you had nice weather for your walk. Always good to have a furry helper around.

I hope someone knows what that fungus is! Wild. We say Stella is a ninja dog. She'll run up stairs and you won't know it--even though she is wearing tags on her collar--until she's breathing in your face! :)

Your Jar is getting full!

Seven miles. That would certainly help my Mounds butt and Reese hips but I can't even do two on the treadmill. That fungus looks like an alien from a SciFi flick.

See? You are impressing us all with the 7 MILES!! Whooeee! That is a LOT Chris. Good for you two. I walk 20 minutes at a time now. That is really, really good for me nowadays. I used to do way more of course, but due to pain, this is what I can do. I am thankful to God I can still move it. ;)
