I love the pinks.
We hiked on Sunday morning. It was pretty warm. This guy was enjoying the warm day. Do you see him on the right, on top of the sign?
I did some more cooking this Sunday. I made a new soup called roasted apple and white aged cheddar soup. I found the recipe on the Closet Kitchen blog. The recipe called for apple juice or cider which I didn't have so I substituted some beer. It was yummy.
I also made a batch of crockpot Indian Pudding. I love this old time dessert. The 5 minutes of whisking is worth it. It is served hot so the ice cream melts. Yum!
Wednesday the 13th is National Indian Pudding day. Maybe I need to make another batch?!
Have a wonderful week my friends!

Sounds as if you had a perfect relaxing weekend, Chris.
There is nothing like a yummy dinner and stitching time!
Thank you for the kind birthday wishes. Here's hoping the next year will bring us blessings :)
Your stitching is looking lovely,
Food looks yummy too.
I love Indian pudding! I just made it on Sunday for our cookbook club. The recipe was from a 19th century cookbook, and involved 20 minutes of stirring in a double boiler before it went in the oven for two hours. Unfortunately it was in the fridge overnight (I prefer it warm). I'll have to try the crockpot version.
I must check out the Indian Pudding as I don't even know what it is. This is definitely a cozy Fall post!
Oh yummy I love indian pudding used to have it loads when we were young at Grandma's house.
You are making good progress on your sampler, love the bug do you know what kind he or she is?

I've never heard of Indian pudding but it looks delicious. It's good to add colours to a design, it brings the project to life for me.

You've been having some great times out and about.
Those recipes sound great, I'm going to have to lookup what Indian pudding is now.
Great progress on your sampler
