Tucson

Good morning!
Our full day in Tucson was spent at the Pima Air Museum.

Rich was very happy.

We went on a tour of the AMARG base or The Boneyard. Fortunately this wasn't closed due to the shutdown.

It was amazing to see those thousands of planes parked in the desert.

We also took the tram tour around the facility. This is the way to see and understand these planes. There are so many. While we weren't taking tours Rich was off viewing other exhibits and I usually will sit in the cafe and stitch but it really wasn't an option at this museum.
After the museum closed we headed out to find some Mexican food and ended up at a local place called Poco & Mom's.

This was the real deal. Nothing like Mexican food back in NC.
After that meal of chili rellenos Rich and I walked around the parking lot of the hotel and saw this beautiful evening sky.

Thanks for traveling with me!
