My Name is Chris & I Have A Stash Problem....

The first step to recovery is recognizing the problem, right?
There have been way too many lovely designs released lately.

The lovely new Ladies Prim Society piece arrived at my door.

Then this package of lovely kits.
Look at the beautiful colors in the 1st Loose Feathers of this go round.

My stitching progress is like this guy...

We met him on the trail on Sunday.

Only a few more leaves have been stitched since last time but I am loving it.
The weather has been wonderful here. Gorgeous fall days, windows open. Cool at night. Maybe there will be a big snow this winter.
Counting down the days until the "big adventure."
Thanks for dropping by and visiting.

Hugs,

Chris

Chris,
My name is Carolyn(hangs head in shame)I have the same problem. I can't tell you how much I have been buying lately. I need to stop at some point. I am not sure when that might be. :)

I think you have made some great purchases. There will always be a time when you will be able to stitch. Hopefully you find it before me.

Hugs,
Carolyn

No worries, Chris. I too suffer from the same affliction. I hear it's incurable. I always tell my hubby it could be worse, I could be addicted to diamonds. LOL!

Do you think we need to start a recovery group to "cure" our addiction, Chris? Nah....

Well, as for our addiction, which I am definintely in that circle too, I just have to say My momma didn't raise a quitter! LOL....Lovely new stash and progress!! Stash on!!!

LOL - I love the post title. We can ALL identify with it! Great stash haul!

There's a difference between unnecessary stash and important stash. These are important. Feel no guilt. Those thread colors and the soft designs are soothing, calming, and necessary to relieve stress. Then you said the other s word and now I'm stressed.

Hmmm...I don't see any "problems"! Is that last piece the new Hollyberry Farm piece from Stacy Nash? Love the border on that!

There seem to be a lot of people with your same problem. Isn't it wonderful!! :) It sure looks like you've chosen some pretty pieces! Can't wait to find out what your big adventure is. :)

Yes, you are right. The problem is that there are so many lovely and beautiful releases at nearly all timmes of the year. Each January I promise myself to stitch only from my stash - and at the beginning of the year I'm really successful, but then my resolution tumbles and falls when I see the first new releases from the designers. And then I start writing a new wish list, lol.
