The Good, The Bad & The Fabulous

The Good...

I got another of the bowls in my chintz pattern. These guys are hard to find. I have 1 in black so I am thrilled to find a red one.

The Bad...
When I was leaving work last night I got into Zippy and was sitting there and had started her up and she started sputtering and a light in the dash went on. So she has been carted off to the dealership. Rich came and got me. He drives 45 min south for work and I drive 45 min north. The poor guy had to do a lot of driving. Keep your fingers crossed that it is a under warranty repair!

The Fabulous...

This sweet Valentine's card and ornament from Myra. Thank you dear friend! The ornament is decorating my mantle.

Well, that's enough excitement for Friday morning.

Oh dear. Fingers crossed about the warranty on the car. Lots of driving in store, huh? Love that you found that red bowl though. And a lovely gift from Myra too!

I hope there isn't a huge problem with the car, we become so dependent on them!

Hope it's something simple. Forty five minute drive for me would be too nerve wracking. But I'm old. You're not!

What a pretty Valentine from Myra! I hope nothing terrible is wrong with the car and it doesn't cost a small fortune. Car worries are so troublesome! Happy weekend!

Good luck with the car! That happened to DH this week, thankfully he was right across from a mechanics so we got away with not spending too much. Of course, double what they originally said it'd be, but still not as bad as it could have been. I hope yours is under warranty! Love the gift from Myra, and your dish!

Fingers crossed for the car fix, but at least your bad was countered by two very good goods!

Oh what a lovely china pattern! What is it called? I'm glad you had a good thing happen to you and not just a bad one. Fingers crossed for Zippy to recover soon!

Hooray for the good! Boo for the bad : ( I'm right there with you, my friend. Our vehicle went into the shop last Monday & it's still there. Thank God they gave us a loaner. They are awaiting some sort of part & wouldn't you know it ... the 4-year warranty we paid for doesn't cover the part or the work.

Bless you, it is horrible when our car breaks down. You must have had a huge buzz with your find.
