The Sampler Bookshelf

Hello Stitching Friends,

Over the last couple of weeks a couple of sampler book have come my way.

The first is Columbia's Daughters. This is the result o a wonderful research project that details the samplers from the different areas of our Capitol.
It can be ordered from the website. If you had the chance to see the exhibit on Baltimore samplers a couple of years ago that exhibit was curated by Gloria Seaman Allen. The Maryland sampler book is also available on her website.

This is the next book that I received. It is on the Norfolk, England samplers. The pictures and the research that went into this book are wonderful. These are gorgeous samplers. You can order the book from the In The Company of Friends Website. It also comes with a lovely sampler chart.

They are both wonderful additions to my library.

Lovely books, Chris.

Would you post a picture of the sampler that In the Company of Friends designed in the Norfolk sampler book?
