Here is my finish...
This is the Little By Little ornament from the 2004 JCS ornament issue. It is stitched on a mystery piece of 36ct linen with the charted DMC.
For the back I went with this gold color. The cording is a rust color. I won't buy this cording again. It is rayon wrapped around a fiber core. When you cut it it just totally unravels. Also the end I cut, I put some glue on and it wasn't dry and bled onto my stitching. It really isn't that bad but I know it is there. ~sigh~

Oh man, the bleeding cording! Well, I can't see a thing. It looks great.
You may know it's there, but I can't tell. Still, I know that must be annoying. Hope the next purchased trimming is a little less difficult to deal with!

Very cute finish, Chris! So sorry you had trouble with the cording. I've found that making my own is really easy and much easier to work with--try getting one of those Kreinik corders... Inexpensive and so worth the money!

I love your ornament finish and the cording. The cording goes so well with the bird's ribbon in his mouth. The gold fabric on the back also compliments this finish! Great job!
