A Finish, Not Finished

Hello Friends!
Thanks for taking the time for stopping by and your wonderful comments and support.
On this Tuesday I have spent time remembering a Tuesday 11 years ago when the Towers fell.
It was a beautiful clear fall day like today.
I also have a small finish to share.

I finished the stitching on the DebBee's Design ornament from the 2007 JCS ornament issue. Isn't it pretty? I would probably never have stitched this if I hadn't participated in the kit exchange.
I will probably do the finishing on it over the weekend. I need to find some fabric for backing my August finish.
That is it from here.
Peace.

Chris

It does look very pretty. It will be interesting to see how you decide to finish it. Hope you're still having fun on your road trip (unless you're back already!).

Chris, that ornament is just beautiful!! Out here in the Pacific NW the day is much like that day 11 years ago, a beautiful bright blue sky.

I'm impressed. Your chevron pattern is perfect. I could just see it zigging when it should be zagging if I stitched it.

That is so pretty, Chris--don't remember seeing that one stitched up before...

It is so strange how the weather on 9/11/01 seemed to be filled with clear blue skies all across the country. I'll never forget how quiet the skies were that day when they shut down the air ways...

That is so pretty Chris. How do you plan to finish it? Speaking of finishes...I have your fall pieces ready. :0) I can remember exactly the moment I heard on the radio about the first plane crash. I will never forget.

It's so pretty Chris. Just seeing the Christmas colors made me smile. Beautiful design. I remembered today 11 yrs ago also, I will never forget. And it was a beautiful day here in Northern California also.

Came out great! It reminds me of bargello from years ago. Looking forward to seeing how you finish it.

Very pretty Chris, I love this pattern, I too remember that fateful day I remember the exact place and time where I was when it happened so very sad.

Gorgeous print!!! Paul and I took the boat out on Sept 11 and we were saying the same thing about it being the same kind of day.
