For awhile I had a part time job at the library in Seagrove. Seagrove is a very small town, there isn't even a grocery store.
The town is very well known for it's pottery. There are some amazing potters here.
Anyway back to the library, there is a display case there so I offered to put some of my needlework in it for a month. I did a display form them before but is has been about 6 years since then.
I stitches all the pieces except for the BBD small pillow. I received this in an exchange from Deborah at Cranberry Samplings.
Also the scissor fob with my initial was stitched for me by Nataly at Nataly's Needle Creations.
I mostly put in pieces that I have stitched in the last 2 years.
Maybe it will inspire someone else to pick up a needle.
Peace.
Chris

What a wonderful display! They are lucky that you were willing to show off your work. Just beautiful!!
I just love the display and I hope it does inspire someone's creativeness. Thanks for adding the piece I made for you. All of your pieces are beautiful.

What a wonderful display! I am sure it will inspire others.
Lovely! I remember doing a yearly display at the local library back in my bobbin lace days. The whole group contributed. Fun : )
Beautiful display!
how great. it looks so nice. what a great tribute to a stitcher. so happy for you chris.
Great idea Chris. Wonderful display.
What a neat idea this is. And the pieces you chose are so very inviting that I think they will motivate someone to take up cross stitching as a hobby. I remember that I was motivated by an exchange student who was living with us for some months and she was cross stitching all the time - a Mirabilia fairy. Then she showed me how to do it and I've never looked back, lol.
What a lovely display of stitching! I do hope it inspires someone, are there any how to stitch or embroidery books in the library that you can put near the display that someone might be encouraged to check one out???
What a great idea to encourage new/renew stitchers. Your stitching is beautiful, and the display is perfect. Good on you!

Very cool and what a lot of pretty things. I hope you do get a few more folks stitching with this yummy display of needlework.
That case of your stitching is so cool Chris! I love it!!
I love your display! You chose some really pretty pieces to include. If it can't entice someone to want to stitch, I don't know what could. :)
Wonderful display of your stitching Chris. Hopefully it inspires someone to pick up needlework as a hobby! So lovely of you to share with the community.
What a beautiful display you created, Chris! I love all the pieces you put in it as well. I am sure folks were drooling over the case and wishing they had all those beauties. So... hopefully, wanting will lead to their doing.
