How Did This Happen?

Do you you ever find a bruise and have no idea where it came from?

How did I manage this on the side of my thumb? Geez.
I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. I dropped my phone yesterday at work and shattered the back of it. Rich and I drove up to Greensboro to the Apple store and they fixed it for $29 bucks, yahoo! After that we went to a little Mediterranean restaurant and had a nice dinner.

I had a stressful day yesterday. Maybe it will be better in July.
I started my ornament for the Christmas All Year Long SAL.

I have chosen the Brittercup ornament from the 2008 JCS ornament issue. I had it kitted so it was an easy choice.

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here the last couple of days. Low 80's. I wish it would stay this way all summer.

Thanks for all your kind comments and visiting me here.

I hope that you had time to stitch today!

Hugs!

I get mystery bruises once in a while too Chris, weird huh?
I like your Brittercup design. I had to look twice. I am so used to the cat designs for Brittercup.

I've definitely had bruises that I didn't know how I got, but not there. Ouch! Glad apple was able to fix your phone and for so cheap too. I like your new ornie choice too.

Yikes that looks nasty! (the bruise, not your stitching) LOL
I will occasionally break a vein in my hands but that looks bad. Hope it isn't anything serious.

Glad the bill to fix your phone wasn't horrendous as they sometimes can be!

MUST get busy stitching here as I am behind on a couple things.
Have a peaceful Sunday.

That bruise looks painful! Does seem like a strange place to get one. Hope it doesn't hinder your stitching. :)
Pretty start on your ornament! I'm glad you were able to get your phone fixed - that seems like a pretty reasonable price. :)

Nice stitching progress! So how tight were you holding on to that stitching frame?

I am covered in muster bruises from the blood thinner and aspirin I take but you would think you'd know how you got that one. Ouch!
I hope your strss level goes down, Chris.
The NC ornie will be darling.
Have a great week.

Love the ornament you chose, I stitched it a couple of years ago for my MIL. Yes, I get mystery bruises too, usually on my legs. I always blame hubby, and say he must have been kicking me in his sleep! LOL

I am with you about strange bruises. I usually find some really wierd and achy ones all over my legs. Your thumb looks a lot more strange, though!

Yep, I get bruises all the time. That's because I'm constantly bumping into things and I don't think anything of it anymore. Then I notice bruises later and wonder, "What the heck did I do now?" lol

So glad to know that I am not the only one to find those mystery bruises! Hope yours has faded!
