And A Little More..

Progress that is.

I finished stitching my Brittercup ornament. I really like it. This month was Stitcher's Choice in the Christmas All Year Long SAL.
I will try and do the finishing on it next weekend. I also need to pick next months ornament. This one should have a bird on it. I am looking forward to finding the design that I will stitch.

Now it is back to the By The Bay SAL. The final piece of the chart was released today. This is a fun stitch. Donna mentioned that she might do this again for the fall or Halloween. I am keeping my fingers crossed. When finished this will fit in a 5x7 frame.
So, it doesn't look like Marietta will get finished this month. Once I finish the By The Bay piece I will pick it up again.
Rich is in Connecticut this weekend to visit family and to celebrate our nephew's high school graduation. I am holding things down at home. I hope to get some more stitching done.

That's it from here. Off to bed but I don't sleep a well when Rich is away.

Have a great weekend and stay cool.
Thanks for dropping by and all your lovely comments.

Can't wait to see the ornament all finished up. Your sal piece is looking great. Sorry I messed up your dinner plans earlier this week, but it sounded like you needed the rest anyway. Hope you're doing better!

Congratulations on another pretty ornament finish, Chris...Sure wish I could get going on mine. I'm about three months behind!

And I love how your SAL is turning out--such pretty colors.

Hope your heat wave has ended. Ours did yesterday--thank goodness. I couldn't have stood many more of those 90+ humid days... Enjoy your weekend--hope you're sleeping better than you anticipated.

Lovely finish and stitches!
Hope you were able to sleep.~ I usually don't sleep well either when my husband is away. Luckily, he doesn't have to travel that often!

Your ornsment is gorgeous! In fact I have that chart and having seen yours has inspired me to want to stitch it too. Your SAL piece looks lovely too.

On the odd occasion that my husband is away I don't sleep as well either.
