May Ornament Start

Since Rich and I decided not to go to the rally in the mountains this weekend, I had Friday off to run some errands and do some dusting. I also did a little stitching.

This so my Christmas All Year Long ornament start.

I found this little kit in the stash. You provide the fabric and floss.
Blogging friends also recommended a cute gingerbread freebie that I will probably stitch too.
Rich and I went up to Greensboro for a Grasshoppers baseball game. The team win their division last year, they are a Marlins farm team.

It was good weather for the game, mid 80's and little cloudy.

The team won with a double play at the end. In Friday nights they have fireworks.

It was a nice date night.
I am having lunch with Myra(gr8dame's place) tomorrow.
I am looking forward to catching up with her.
I hope that everyone has a great weekend.

Glad you found such a cute little piece in your stash to stitch, Chris... Looks like a perfect evening for a ballgame, too. Enjoy your lunch with Miss Myra--tell her I said "hello!"

Have a lovely lunch today. It's a beautiful, sunny day here with us in Scotland - not nearly as warm as you have though.

You stitch the most unique designs, Chris. I've never seen the ornament design you're stitching this month before. It's going to be so cute!!! I always look forward to seeing what you will come up with each month. So fun!
