Friday morning we hopped on a bus to drive up the road to Winchester, VA. It is so nice to be driven by someone else once in awhile.
The first stop was up to Cherry Row on Apple Pie Ridge. I could use some pie with names like that. This is a private home and was graciously shared with our study group.
Does this kitchen look amazing?
A beautiful view. They also had quite a few samplers for us to see.
Then we hopped back on the bus to ride to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. After lunch we had another quilt turning and we toured the exhibits.
Then it was off to see our hosts home and have a dinner of heavy finger food.
The stone farmhouse is beautiful.
This was the dinner set up.
Wow!!
It was a wonderful evening. The home is filled with wonderful treasures. The home reminded me of my grandmother's house in northwestern NJ.
Many thanks to our wonderful hosts.
I put a few more stitches in and them it was time for bed. It was truly a day of wonderful memories.
Hugs

Chris, what a wonderful trip. I love living in the NW but you just don't see houses like those in your blog. Thanks so much for sharing.
