My EGA chapter is doing a stitching basket of smalls for raffle at the region seminar in June. All the raffle money will go to the guild. So that's good right? Anyway I agreed to stitch a piece....now due in 2 weeks because my dear friend was a slacker( her words, not mine) and didn't get it in the mail to me.
I don't have a lot of stitching time so it is a big commitment for me. At least I don't have to do any finishing!
I will try and get a picture of the completed basket and accessories before the raffle so you can take a peek.
I broke down and had a diet coke this morning and it was so good! I will try and behave tomorrow. The diet is out the window. Too much stress in my life right now. The spreadsheets, my friends the macros and I are getting along ok. A couple of people got their job termination letters this week stating that their job is ending June 30th. Everyone is still waiting to see how things will shake out. I am trying not to worry about it.
I got to go to a dinner last night with some colleagues and this was the yummy dessert that was served...
The martini glass was rimmed in cinnamon and filled with peach cobbler.
I hope that everyone is having a great week and is enjoying some spring weather!
Gotta go stitch!

HOpe things calm down for you soon. And that the 'forced' stitching turns out to be pleasurable... and super fast!
You can do it - I love the pattern & the floss color by the way - Gorgeous :)
Cute patterns and lovely threads! Hopefully it will stitch up easily for you!
Hugs!
Having to have something done - no matter what it is, is a PITA. Hopefully, it won't take you too long and you can move onto stitching for you!
That cobbler looks amazing!
I don't like "deadline" stitching either Chris--good luck with it!
I hope things calm down for you soon... hang in there :)
